Day 1 – Encouragement That Restores People

Day 1 of 3

Barnabas was not known first for power, position, or preaching. He was known as a man who encouraged people. The apostles even called him “Son of Encouragement.” In a world where many people criticize quickly, Barnabas chose to strengthen others instead of discouraging them. One of the greatest examples of this was Paul.

After Paul encountered Jesus, many believers were afraid of him because of his past. They remembered the persecution. They remembered the fear. Nobody wanted to trust him. But Barnabas looked beyond Paul’s history and saw God’s calling over his life.

“Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles.”
– Acts 9:27

That moment changed history.

Sometimes people grow spiritually because someone believes in them before others do. Encouragement is not small.
It can restore confidence, awaken calling, and help people continue walking with God during difficult seasons.

Reflection:
Who around you needs encouragement instead of criticism today?
