What We Do
The Power of Faith: The Story of Peter Walking on Water
In Matthew 14:22-33, we read the powerful story of Peter walking on water. When Jesus called Peter to step out of the boat and walk toward Him on the water, Peter’s faith allowed him to do the impossible. But as soon as he became distracted by the wind and fear, he began to sink. Jesus immediately reached out and saved him.
This story illustrates that faith in Jesus can overcome any obstacle, but when we take our focus off Him and allow fear to take over, we risk losing our way. Just like Peter, we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting Him to help us walk through life’s storms.
Lesson: With unwavering faith, we can do the impossible, but our trust must remain in Jesus, even when life gets difficult.
