Testimony of God’s Faithfulness in My Life – By Praveen

My Mother’s Unshakable Faith

From my childhood, I remember the powerful image of my mother’s faith. Every Sunday, no matter what situation we were in, she was filled with joy and excitement to go to church. We lived in deep poverty, but that never stopped her. My elder brother would carry two people at a time on his bicycle — riding 12 kilometers each way to take us to church. My mother, with her humble heart, would walk all the way if needed, or catch a bullock cart if one passed by. Her only desire was for her children to be in God’s presence. She arranged clothes for us as best as she could, and did everything so that we could sit in church and worship together.

After my father passed away, she still never gave up. She didn’t know how to read the Bible or say long prayers, but she was completely led by the Holy Spirit. Her prayers were pure and powerful. We, as children, didn’t understand the depth of what she was doing, but now I see clearly — her obedience and faith covered us and guided our lives. Though people mocked her, and neighbors laughed at her struggles, she never turned away from God. She worked hard and prayed harder.

God’s Provision in Our Journey

Looking back, I now see how God was with us every step of the way. Many times, I worried about my sisters and brother — how would their marriages happen? But God reminded me: “Praveen, remember how I carried you when you were small? I am still the same God.” One by one, God made a way. Every marriage had challenges, but God showed His faithfulness. Just as His Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse became a living truth in our lives. God worked miracles in His time and His way.

A Divine Turn: Nashik and Back

After moving to Nashik, within four months, I came back to Hyderabad — the place I had served before. In those three months, I faced heavy financial struggles and painful challenges. But I don’t see that season as a mistake. God used that time to teach me something important: “Praveen, don’t rely on your own understanding. Don’t rush. Don’t boast. Surrender and wait for Me.” Those months were not wasted; they were training ground. God taught me to rest in Him and to trust that He will open the right doors in the right time.

A Promise of Blessing and Academic Breakthrough

During this time, I also received a small but powerful sign of God’s favor. I had been preparing for the National Eligibility Test for my Ph.D. studies. After failing three attempts, this time I finally qualified. I applied for Ph.D. admission in Jalgaon University. What makes this more special is that before I even knew the result, God had already spoken a promise over me: “I have blessed the work of your hands.” Later, the results confirmed His word. This qualification is not just an academic step — it’s a spiritual breakthrough, a testimony of what God can do when we trust Him.

I continue to work faithfully with an NGO as a caretaker and serve the community. As I had promised Anil Sir, I committed to serve one more academic year after returning to Hyderabad. Meanwhile, I am also studying Data Analytics and searching for a new job. I am not anxious or stressed, because I know God is guiding my journey.

Right now, I am preparing again for the NET exam, and this time, I’m not just aiming to pass — I am asking God boldly for the JRF and even the All India First Rank. I believe if God could bring me this far, He can also lift me to heights I never imagined. My desire is to glorify Him with every achievement and to see His promises fulfilled through my life.

Miracles in the Midst of Darkness

Last year, my brother went through such deep depression that he tried to take his own life. But God stepped in and saved him. It was a dark moment, but it turned into a testimony of life and protection. My sister faced severe health issues, but again, God healed her completely. Recently, her marriage plan collapsed when the man misbehaved and disrespected her — it was heartbreaking. But now, we realize it was God’s protection. He closed that door for a reason.

A Call from the Past: God’s Faithfulness Remembered

Recently, we received a call from our first missionary family — the same people who first introduced us to Jesus. They asked me how old I am, and I told them, “Not even 30.” They were amazed and said they wanted to see how far God has brought us. That moment touched me deeply. It reminded me that God has always been with us — from poverty, pain, and pressure — to peace, progress, and purpose. Nothing is wasted in God’s plan.

I now realize that even my decision to go to Nashik wasn’t by chance. It wasn’t my idea — it was God’s purpose. And even returning to Hyderabad was God’s perfect arrangement. Every step, every delay, every struggle — it all had meaning. God is not done with me yet. I’m surrendered to His will, and I trust Him fully.

Final Prayer

Lord Jesus,
I thank You with all my heart for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for my mother’s unshakable faith, for protecting my family, for every open door and every lesson in the hard times. Even when I didn’t see You, You were working. When I failed, You picked me up. When I was weak, You strengthened me.

Thank You for bringing me back to Hyderabad, for giving me another chance to serve, and for blessing the work of my hands. I pray now, Lord — as I prepare for the National Eligibility Test — give me wisdom and focus. I believe and ask for Your favor: bless me with JRF and All India First Rank, not for my name, but for Your glory.

Use my life as a testimony. Let my story remind others that You are real, that You are faithful, and that You never forget Your children. I surrender everything into Your hands. Let Your perfect will be done in my life.
