Day 1

Day 1 of 7

Stay Connected

VERSE: John 15:5

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Story
————————————————–

There was a season in my life when everything felt spiritually strong.
Prayer felt natural.
Faith felt easy.
I believed nothing could shake me.

But slowly I began depending more on my own strength than on God.

Then a difficult season came.
I lost my job.
Months passed without clarity.

That season taught me something important:
faith is not built by our own power.
Real faith stays connected to God even when life becomes uncertain.

Sometimes God allows difficult moments to remind us that we cannot carry life alone.

REFLECTION:

Am I depending more on myself or staying connected to God?
