THE HELMET OF SALVATION (Ephesians 6:17)
“Take the helmet of salvation…” The helmet protects the mind. Many spiritual battles begin through thoughts.
People often carry:
guilt
shame
regret
fear
overthinking
condemnation
Some believe they must earn God’s love, through perfect behavior or good works. But salvation is not earned. Salvation is a free gift from God.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus already carried sin on the cross. Because of Him, forgiveness is possible. Salvation reminds us: we are accepted, we are forgiven, we belong to Christ, our past does not define us. The enemy attacks the mind with condemnation, but salvation reminds us of grace.
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” – Romans 8:1
Even when the mind feels tired, God still speaks peace.
