THE SHIELD OF FAITH (Ephesians 6:16)
“Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
Faith protects the heart during spiritual battles. The enemy often attacks through lies, fear, discouragement, temptation, and negative thoughts.
Sometimes the arrows sound like:
“You are rejected.”
“God does not love you.”
“You failed too many times.”
“You cannot change.”
“There is no hope for you.”
But faith answers those lies with truth.
Faith reminds us:
God still forgives
grace is still available
Jesus already paid the price
we are not abandoned
The enemy wants people to live in fear, but faith keeps the heart standing. Faith does not mean we never struggle. Faith means we continue trusting God
even when emotions feel weak.
Many people today secretly battle anxiety, comparison, fear of failure, and hopelessness. But faith becomes a shield that protects the soul from collapsing.
